𝐆𝐀𝐙𝐀 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐀 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄 — 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐐𝐔𝐎𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐓, 𝐈𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌
Two clarifying principles, before the data:
𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞. H-m-s, with the documented support of the majority of Gazan adults (Washington Institute for Near East Policy poll, August 2023; multiple post-October 7 surveys), attacked Israel on October 7 and lost. That is a war they chose. That is not a genocide.
𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞. H-m-s can end the war today. Lay down your weapons. Release the hostages. The sh∗∗ting stops. They will not, because they want to keep attacking Israel. That is also not a genocide.
Now look at the chart. 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 (World of Statistics):
𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩: +𝟏,𝟎𝟑𝟒%.
𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥: +𝟔𝟎𝟗%.
Gaza’s population grew faster than every Arab Gulf state except Qatar and the UAE. 𝐈𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟. That is not what genocide produces. Genocide is what reduces the Armenian population in eastern Turkey to single-digit percentages of its prewar count. Genocide is what reduces the Tutsi population in Rwanda by 70% in 100 days. Genocide is not a 1,034% expansion under the alleged perpetrator’s presence next door.
Now the casualty figures. Anyone repeating the “70,000 𝘎𝘢𝘻𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘬!𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥” number is repeating the 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 number. The Gaza Health Ministry is run by H-m-s. They do not differentiate between civilian and combatant. They do not differentiate between war d∗aths and natural causes. They are the only source for that number, and they have been caught fabricating death tolls in every prior conflict.
Even if you accept the H-m-s number at face value: 70,000 d∗aths divided by the IDF’s reported tonnage of munitions delivered yields a ratio that is 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞. If Israel actually wanted Gaza emptied, no buildings would be standing and no Gazans would be breathing. That has not happened.
𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐫. 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞.

💢I love when people say Israel is committing genocide but don’t know what the actual word means. Or the reality of what is actually happening because they watch propaganda TikTok shorts.

  • Experts who have looked into this are clear, it is genocide. Not sure what your source is, but the data does not support one or the other. It is an irrelevant statistic.

  • I've no idea whether what Israel has performed is technically a genocide or not. But what i do know is, from the pictures and reporting i have seen, what they have done to Palestine is pure evil (just as Oct 7th was). So spare me your protests.

  • I'd like us to do a similar stat and know the population of Jews between 1939 - 1945 in Europe.
Did the population increase in 1942 in camps or did it reduce?
Then finally after the war, what was the total number of Jews in Europe.
I mean, why don't we also check if there was a genocide then too?

  • So we have identified the problem

  • Now do the population from 1948 to 1950 and explain why it increased 🤔

  • the keyword here is the Gaza Strip, not the entire plstn population, when the main reason of the growth is coming from the relocatiion and displacement of the plstnian being put to gaza strip. This point has been debunked numerous time.

  • Israel was never even a country, the country was always named Palestine and made up of the tribes of Israel, the descendants of the man named Israel, the modern political state of Israel is made up of mainly descendants of European Jews, not Middle Easterners from the biblical countries of Persia Babylon and Palestine etc

  • Well you made it a parking lot now which was always the objective, and killed 20.000 children in the process, so let's see what happens with all the displaced palestinians now and how the Riviera project will benefit them....

  • 1. Population growth over 75 years does not tell you what is happening right now. Rwanda's Tutsi population had been growing for decades before 1994. The Armenian population grew under Ottoman rule before 1915. Long-term growth preceding an acute event is not evidence against that event
    2. Genocide doesn't require total extermination. The legal definition under the 1948 UN Genocide Convention includes acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part a group. "In part" is explicit in international law.
    3. About Hamas ending the war
Israeli officials including cabinet ministers have explicitly discussed permanent displacement of Gazans and resettlement of Gaza - statements that complicate the "Israel just wants Hamas gone" framing.
Civilian populations don't get to simply "end" a war by pressuring their armed rulers, especially under a blockade with no free press or political opposition.
    4.
"IF ISRAEL WANTED GENOCIDE, NO BUILDINGS WOULD BE STANDING" Factually challenged
Satellite analysis by multiple independent organizations (UNOSAT, Corey Scher/Jamon Van Den Hoek) has found that 50–70% of structures in northern Gaza were damaged or destroyed as of early 2024 — among the highest urban destruction rates ever recorded.
This argument sets an impossible standard: only 100% extermination counts. That's not how genocide law or history works.
This post uses real statistics to build a rhetorically forceful but logically flawed argument. It correctly identifies some weaknesses in pro-Palestinian rhetoric but then overcorrects into its own selective reading — dismissing international law's actual definitions, misrepresenting casualty data credibility, and making a historical claim about Israel that is straightforwardly false.
The genocide question is genuinely legally contested. But "1,034% population growth since 1950" doesn't settle it and presenting it as if it does is misleading.

destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

    destruction in whole or in part;

These numbers are showing by how much the number of people in the area increased (in whatever year this was published) compared to 1950.
Using a very relevant example - if over time, people from other areas of Palestine move to Gaza for whatever reason (displaced, personal, etc), it will all be included in the “Population increase” compared to 1950.

  • Motherfucker, Gaza population increased after 1950 because of your genosidal state that drove hundreds of thousands of people to be displaced from all over Palestine into Gaza, the same spike in Jordan for the same reason,
