NEBUCHADNEZZAR WAS THE GREATEST OF THE NEO-BABYLONIAN KINGS.

NEVERTHELESS, IRANIAN PEOPLE WERE THERE IN JERUSALEM.
IRANIANS WERE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
AND WE BELIEVE THAT WHEN IRANIANS WENT BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRIES,
THEY TOOK THE MESSAGE OF THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS THE MESSIAH TO THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
WE LOOK AT CHURCH HISTORY HUNDREDS OF YEARS LATER.
THE IRANIANS TOOK THE GOSPEL, THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS,
TO CHINA THROUGH THE SILK ROAD.
IN FACT, THE CHINESE PEOPLE CALLED CHRISTIANITY THE PERSIAN RELIGION,
BECAUSE THEY HAD HEARD THE GOSPEL FROM PERSIAN CHRISTIANS, PERSIAN FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST.
SO I AM VERY PROUD, I FEEL VERY HONORED AS AN IRANIAN FOLLOWER OF JESUS...
THAT GOD HAS USED THE PEOPLE OF IRAN IN A SIGNIFICANT WAY...
TO BRING HOPE AND HEALING TO THE NATIONS.
I THINK A PERSIAN RUG CAN BE A BEAUTIFUL SYMBOL OF HOW GOD IS AT WORK IN HISTORY,
HOW GOD IS AT WORK IN OUR LIVES.
WHEN YOU LOOK AT A RUG, ONE SIDE OF IT CAN LOOK VERY ROUGH.
THE KNOTS, THE THREADS, THE... THE BACK SIDE OF A RUG MIGHT NOT LOOK VERY BEAUTIFUL.
BUT YOU HAVE FAITH THAT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RUG,
THERE IS A GLORIOUS, BEAUTIFUL PATTERN RICH WITH DIFFERENT COLORS AND TEXTURES.
I BELIEVE THAT'S HOW WE NEED TO LOOK AT HOW GOD IS AT WORK IN THE WORLD.
IT MIGHT LOOK VERY MESSY FROM OUR SIDE OF HISTORY RIGHT NOW,
BUT WE HAVE FAITH THAT THIS GOD WHO... WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO BLESS THE NATIONS,
THIS GOD WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO ESTABLISH THE SHALOM, THE PEACE,
THE KINGDOM OF JESUS, THAT HE IS ACTUALLY MAKING A BEAUTIFUL STORY.
ONE DAY THE PATTERNS WILL MAKE SENSE.
ONE DAY WE WILL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD'S WORK IN OUR LIFE...
JUST THE WAY WE SEE AND ENJOY THE GLORY OF A PERSIAN RUG.

The very next day, while standing in a line, I met an Iranian woman who had become a Christian, and she spoke to me about Christ. I considered this a miracle. After some time, I gave my heart to Christ and entered into a living and direct relationship with God. Christ transformed my life, and I received healing in both body and soul. When I was a military rug rat, many Iranian military families were there. I ate there food, stayed in their homes. They were many Jews and Christians. I cry when I think we lost them as an allied nation. I hope to see them again in the resurrection. I miss the food too!

l grew up in India and my contact with Persians there, also known as Parsis was always very positive. I now live in America and my encounter with them is not different. In many ways, they have an idea about their past, but do not know how special they are in Salvation History. I believe that even prior to mention of the Elamites, Medes and Parthians in Acts, the 3 kings/wise men in Matthew, were also from Persia. When Iranian people come to Christ, there is a fire and fervor that is very special. I love the analogy of the rug about the underside. May God richly bless you Children of Cyrus.

I've read the entire Bible for 29 times and am on the way to do it for one more time, but every time ended with with lots of questions and missing information, gaps, the lack of proper knowledge or documentation about linking the prophecies and the promises coming true later in the years to come. This one video has opened my eyes about Iran, the great nation and its great King, Cyrus whom the Mighty God has chosen to work to fulfil the prophecy that's been scripted years before its fulfilment.
